Feed as a source of grain to mature chickens, as a special treat. Scatter feed on the ground to encourage pecking behavior, a stress-relieving activity for birds. This feed is not intended for use as a sole ration. Additional supplementation is needed for proper growth and egg production. Provide grit and clean, fresh water at all times. Store in a cool, dry, ventilated location away from rodents and insects. Do not feed if moldy, spoiled, pest infested or has an uncharacteristic odor or appearance, as it may cause illness or death.
